The stone bridge, located somewhat off the main traffic route through the Murtal, probably dates from the 2nd century AD. The arch bridge is made of rubble and was first mentioned in 1454 and is now a listed building.
The Roman bridge lies between the districts of Sankt Dionysen - Oberaich and Oberdorf, north of the current course of the Mur. This bridge probably belonged to the former Roman post road that led from Flavia Solva (today Wagna) through the Mur Valley to Poedicum (today Bruck) and from there on to Stiriate (today Liezen).
Ascent in approx. 5 minutes from the St. Dionysen parish road - Paulahofsiedlung, not barrier-free!
