A school to feel good
We are a 4-class elementary school with around 80 to 100 students. Our school has existed since 1949.
At that time there was a great need for new school buildings, so this close-by school in the Murinsel area was built under Mayor August Hahn. There used to be a barracks on the site.
In the course of time the school was enlarged by an extension. Over the past few years, the classrooms have been renovated, partially refurnished and brought up to date.
All classrooms are on the ground floor.
Sporty
Due to our close proximity to the Murinsel - on which the athletics stadium and the ice rink are located - a lot of outdoor sports are offered in addition to the usual gymnastics lessons.
Active
Every year, non-binding exercises are also offered and projects are carried out. We take part in a wide variety of school events.
Child friendly
Thanks to new forms of learning and proven methods, many exercise units are incorporated into the lessons. Learn with all your senses and loosen up the class.
Supportive
We support the children entrusted to us on their way to independence; the children get to know different work techniques together, help and respect one another. We pay special attention to the transition from kindergarten to school and then to secondary school. In the case of partial performance weaknesses, we work closely with the Special Education Center and School Psychology and call in experts.
Performance-oriented
We prepare our students well for secondary schools. Regular reading and spelling screenings are a matter of course, as are the resulting remedial lessons and the promotion of talented students in order to be able to guarantee individualization and differentiation. Rules and manners are important to us.
