Along the entire trail, there are 39 picture panels featuring photos of local birdlife, along with the exact names and descriptions of the animals' lifestyles. It’s a well-maintained walking path that also allows plenty of time to explore the town of Turnau.

An easy, easily walkable path, especially suitable for children and older adults.
It’s best to start on foot from the village, walking along the sidewalk next to the road in the direction of Pogusch. After crossing the bridge over the Stübmingbach stream, the road starts to rise, and just before the right-hand curve, we cross to the left side of the road toward "Bircha" and the Schwabenberglift. This is where the bird educational trail begins, with the first of a total of 39 information panels. From the end of the trail at the Sebastianikapelle, we walk along the sidewalk back in the direction of Turnau.

Don’t forget your camera, as there are wonderful views of the surroundings, and many of the images are truly worth seeing.
By train to Bruck/Mur or Kapfenberg train station, then take the bus to Turnau. Line 171 (Bruck/Mur - Aflenz - Turnau).
