Take the S6 Semmering motorway to the Allerheiligen/Mürzhofen exit - turn right towards Mürzhofen.
Starting from the municipal office in Mürzhofen, we walk along Wiener Straße in the direction of St. Marein. At the village square, we turn right into Kirchengasse, walk along it, past the church and the Antonibildstock, uphill until we reach the rest bench on Wiedenberg (Siebenkirchenblick). From there we walk along the Wiedenbergweg, past the farmsteads vlg. Kögler (Spuler) and vlg. Moser (Zettelbauer) until the next fork in the road. We turn left and follow the path over the Schwarzkogelbach stream to the next fork in the road, then continue along the forest road towards St. Lorenzen to the next junction, where we turn left and follow the forest path downhill to Herrenberg. Once here, we keep left and soon reach the Lechner wine tavern, which is located directly on the trail. After an extensive and excellent culinary rest, we continue along the marked path over the Schwarzkogelbach stream and cross the landfill road. We follow the dirt track and pass the Antoni wayside shrine and the church again before returning to our starting point.
