Milestone trail (Meilensteinweg) / Trail 4

A charming "detour" via Rehgraben (beautiful floodplain forest) to the village of Bad Loipersdorf and along the Meilensteinweg back to the spa resort.
From the starting point Therme it goes over a forest section into the Rehgraben and after a flat section you come to the "Sauberg" with a beautiful view into the Rittscheintal with Bad Loipersdorf, Dietersdorf and Gillersdorf. From the center of the village, this trail "gets" a theme: the new Bad Loipersdorf milestone trail. At 6 stations along the way (again in the direction of the thermal resort), the most important developments of the community and tourism in recent decades are presented. Shortly before the finish you have a wonderful panoramic view on the panorama terrace of the VINO.TAKE. On a clear day, you can see as far as the Koralm in the west and Hungary in the east.

THERMENLANDBUS

The Thermenland bus runs daily between Vienna and the Loipersdorf spa resort.

Detailed information on how to get there can be found here.

From the starting point of the spa, turn left in the direction of Hotel Stoiser and vis á vis into the forest (starting point of the running track and other hiking trails.) After about 50 m, turn right and continue downhill along the forest path. At the bottom of the valley you finally leave the forest and walk along a dirt road until you reach the municipal road. Stay left here and follow the road until you reach the intersection with the state road towards Stein. Here you continue to the right on the sidewalk. After about 500 m, at a bridge, turn left into Rinngrabenstraße. After about 200 m leave the asphalt road on the right and walk up the hill on the dirt road. At the top, turn left on the asphalt road towards the farm. Passing the farm on the right, you come to the Sauberg. Here you have a beautiful view of the village of Bad Loipersdorf and the districts of Dietersdorf and Gillersdorf. Continue along the ridge past another farm - here turn right onto the road. After about 150 m, at the crossroads, turn right downhill in the direction of Bad Loipersdorf. In the village area please pay attention to the signs. The path leads past the parish church on the left and at the municipal office on the right to the newly designed village square on the opposite side. From here you are on the "Meilensteinweg". Cross the square and then turn right towards the elementary school. From here keep straight on along the signposted path. After 500 m you come between 2 houses to the access road in the direction of the spa. Here, continue along the accompanying path along the road. Benches invite you to rest and on the panorama terrace of the VINO.TAKE Kowald you have beautiful panoramic views. Then continue a little further off the road to the spa, where you hike the last piece over the power hill.
I would recommend enjoying the beautiful panoramic view on the panoramic terrace on the roof of VINO.TAKE Kowald with a glass of wine. Opening hours: Mon-Sat 9:00 to 12:00 and 13:00 to 18:00
