Peter Rosegger memorial trail - Annenruhe variant
We walk in the footsteps of Peter Rosegger through Krieglach: this variant leads to Annenruhe, a place that Rosegger liked to visit again and again.
The start of our short hike is the Rosegger Park in the town centre with a sculpture by Paul Kassecker showing little ‘Peterl’ herding sheep. Here you will also find information boards with interesting facts about Peter Rosegger and descriptions of the two memorial walks.
The trail leads us to the Rosegger Museum at the beginning - the former home of the writer. Here we gain interesting insights into Peter Rosegger's life. The walk then continues in the direction of Annenruhe - we follow the green marker 2a. This path leads us directly to the Annenruhe.
