Styrian Semmering Railway Hiking Trail
Along the core zone of the UNESCO World Heritage Semmering Railway, from Semmering Station to the Southern Railway Museum in Mürzzuschlag.
Since 2004, the Styrian section of the Semmering Railway Hiking Trail has extended the existing hiking route on the Lower Austrian side. This allows for the entire UNESCO World Heritage Semmering Railway to be explored on a continuous path. The 16.1 km hiking route begins at Semmering Station, passes through the entire municipality of Spital am Semmering, and ends at the SÜDBAHN Museum in Mürzzuschlag.
