Harmonious, natural and quiet, the Weiermoarteich lies at 916 metres above sea level at the foot of the Seckau Alps. It turns out to be a real power spot in every season. We visited it for "I bin a Murtaler".

Recently a new Murtaler decorates the Hochschwung. The brand-new summit cross was erected by the Bretstein rural youth. On 26th August it was inaugurated.

Today we would like to introduce you to a Murtaler with a stony heart but with a lot of heartbeat. Pinolite magnesite is a rare mineral and is found in Hohentauern. However, it likes to travel through the Murtal and stops at Edelsteine Krampl at Weißkirchen, where it is processed into a wide variety of products.

Nostalgia and motorsport feeling come up during a visit to the Puch Museum in Judenburg. This year, a vehicle from the popular museum was even on the road together with the greats of Formula 1 on the most beautiful race track in the world. The Puch Haflinger 700 AP was allowed to chauffeur Lewis Hamilton around the Red Bull Ring.

In a few days it will be time - a new Zirbenhoheit will be elected at the Zirbenfest from 12th to 13th August 2023. Regardless of whether they are the Zirben Queen or the Zirben Princess, all 3 have one thing in common - they are allowed to present our beautiful region in a dreamlike Zirbenland Dirndl.
