The only still passable silver mine in the Grazer Bergland is the ideal destination - especially in bad weather! The Graz mint was supplied with silver from Arzberg in the Middle Ages. A local museum rounds off the eventful program.
During the 1.5 hours you will learn a lot about the life of the miners and the hard work in the mine. At the beginning, the "home cinema" briefly tells the story of Arzberg and the Silberstollen. Then you put on protective clothing and go to the entrance in the silver gallery. Then the tour "underground" begins.
The Arzberger Heimat- und Volkkundemuseum (Museum of Local History and Folklore) includes a clear display of objects and equipment from the rural and craft world of work and life. All information about the tour and the tour dates can be found on the website.
Take advantage of the opportunity and travel by public transport.
Dear guests, the opening times may change, for your safety please contact the Arzberg silver mine directly.
