Rudolf-Schober-Hütte

The Rudolf-Schober-Hütte is situated at 1.667 m and was originally built as a small base for tourers. Today the hut offers three rooms and a mattress camp, shower with hot water and a children's playground. 

This high alpine comfort is made possible by an environmentally friendly small hydroelectric power station owned by the hut. The hut is therefore a popular base for long-distance hikers as well as for guests of all ages.

The area offers a varied flora and fauna - with a little luck you can observe ibex, sea eagles and even bald vultures.

The extensive hiking area offers easy mountain hikes to full-day tours.

You can reach our hut from the Etrachsee car park in 1.5 hours.
