The Grazerhütte, built in 1928 and managed from 1933 to 1934 by cosmopolitan and Dalai Lama friend Heinrich Harrer, at 1.632 meters is located directly on the 6-lake hike. For the ambitious and experienced guests, the Traweng can be reached via the normal path or via the via ferrata Gamsblick just behind the house.

The accommodation on the picturesque Tauplitzalm is ideal for overnight stays, resting, resting and stopping for a bite to eat.

    The ascent is from Bad Mitterndorf via the Tauplitzalm Alpine Road. (subject to toll)

    In summer you can drive up to the accommodation. In winter, the car must be left at the parking lot on the Tauplitzalm. You will be picked up from there and brought to the hut.

via the A2 Südautobahn, the S6 to St. Michael, continue on the A9 Phyrn-Autobahn, take the Liezen exit to the Trautenfels junction - turn off to Ausseerland

from direction Vienna, Linz

via the A1 Westautobahn, take the Regau exit as far as Gmunden, continue on the B145 as far as Bad Ischl, turn off into Ausseerland/Liezen

from Salzburg

via the Tauernautobahn A10, exit at Golling, continue on B162 in the direction of Lammertal, past Abtenau to Gosau, continue to Lake Hallstättersee on the B166, keep left in the direction of Bad Goisern, turn onto the B145 in the direction of Bad Aussee/Liezen

from direction Carinthia

via the A10 Tauernautobahn, take the Eben exit, continue on the B99 in the direction of Hüttau, past St. Martin am Tennengebirge to Rußbach and Gosau, continue to Lake Hallstättersee on the B166, keep left in the direction of Bad Goisern, turn onto the B145 in the direction of Bad Aussee/Liezen
