Your hike begins at the parking lot at Ingeringsee. From there, follow the signs to the right to the Klementikapelle chapel. A wide forest path leads gently uphill through a wooded landscape with beautiful views. On alpine trail 39, you climb steeply through the forest to the Saurücken ridge. The path leads over boulder slopes and moderate terrain to the summit.
Your hike begins at the parking lot at Ingeringsee, which is easily accessible and offers plenty of parking. From the parking lot, follow the signs to the right in the direction of Klementikapelle. Yellow signposts point the way from the parking lot. The wide forest path leads slightly uphill and is easy to walk on. Here you can already enjoy the fresh mountain air and the tranquillity of nature. The path meanders gently through the wooded landscape and offers beautiful views of the surrounding mountains time and again. After a leisurely ascent on the forest road, you reach the start of alpine trail 39, where the more challenging part of the hike begins. The path now leads steeply through the dense forest. The path is well marked throughout, but caution is advised as the ascent can be rocky and slippery in places. Sturdy hiking boots are essential here.

Your hike begins at the parking lot at Ingeringsee, which is easily accessible and offers plenty of parking. From the parking lot, follow the signs to the right in the direction of Klementikapelle. Yellow signposts point the way right from the parking lot. Alpine trail 39 leads steadily uphill until you reach the Saurücken ridge. The effort of the steep ascent is rewarded by the impressive natural scenery. The trail offers a variety of flora and fauna and, with a bit of luck, you may spot wild animals. From the Saurücken, the trail continues below the Höllkogel. This section of the hike requires some attention, as the path leads over boulder slopes. These large boulders can be a challenge, especially in wet weather. Watch your step and use the markings to show you the safest way through this challenging terrain. Once you have passed the boulder slopes, the terrain becomes more moderate again. The path leads through a scenic high mountain landscape. Here you can take a break and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. The path is now relatively flat until you reach the start of the ascent to the summit. The final ascent to the summit is via an easily accessible ridge. Although the ridge path is steep, it is well marked throughout and safe to walk on. The last few meters to the summit require more effort, but the effort is rewarded with a breathtaking 360-degree panoramic view. At the summit, you can take a well-earned break and enjoy the spectacular view of the surrounding peaks and valleys. After a long rest and enjoying the view from the summit, you can begin your descent. The way back follows the same route as the ascent. The descent also requires concentration, especially in the steep and rocky sections. Take your time and enjoy the return through the different landscape zones that you have already crossed on the ascent. The way back takes you back down the forest road to the parking lot at Ingeringsee. This hike is challenging and requires a good level of fitness and surefootedness. However, the varied route offers unforgettable nature experiences and impressive views that are more than worth the effort.
The hike ends where it began and you can end the day by the idyllic lake. Perhaps take the opportunity for a picnic or a walk along the shore to reflect on the impressions of the day.
This tour is NOT considered "accessible by train and bus" because there is no regular connection.
