More information

Coming from St. Peter am Kammersberg, follow the main road towards Pöllau am Greim. After about 2 kilometers, turn left towards Greim in a sharp right-hand bend! Here you drive about 6 kilometers, first on a paved road and then on a gravel road, always straight ahead to the Greimhütte starting point!

Coming from Oberwölz, follow the main road towards Pöllau am Greim for about 8 kilometers. In a sharp left bend, turn right towards Greim. Here you drive about 6 kilometers, first on a paved road, then on a gravel road, always straight ahead to the Greimhütte starting point.

The entire tour runs above the tree line, leads largely along wide ridges and has the Greim, a high, attractive summit, as its destination. On larger stones you can see path markings that show the respective junctions. During the ascent, the Greimrinne is walked extensively in the upper part. The descent takes place on the west side via the Sandkogel. A yellow sign at the summit shows the direction. From the Sandkogel you descend directly to the left to the Greimrinne. The descent can then be climbed in two ways: crossing the gully halfway up and following the ski tracks to the Greimhütte or going up the gully to the end and then following the ski tracks to the Greimhütte.
With the BusBahmBim app from the composite line, timetable information is easier than ever before: all bus, train and tram connections in Austria can be queried by entering locations and/or addresses, stops or important points. The app is available as a free app for smartphones (Android, iOS) - on Google Play and in the App Store.
