Murtal adventure region, you accompany the courageous Gretl to the Bösenstein.
Along the fairy tale trail to the Edelrautehütte in the
Murtal adventure region, it won't be hard for you to suspect gnomes under the gnarled roots, discover the green hair of the water sprite in the stream and the faces of petrified giants in the rocks. You can experience the story of Gretl and the Bösenstein at eight fairytale stations.

B114, coming from Trieben - 100 m after the village sign, turn right onto Neue Tauernstraße in the direction of Mautstraße. Before the toll turn left and park at the parking lot Schilanglauf Hohentauern.
B114 coming from St. Johann - 100 m before the village sign, turn left onto Neue Tauernstraße in the direction of Mautstraße. Turn left before the toll road and park at the Schilanglauf Hohentauern parking lot.
The starting point of the tour is the parking lot at the cross-country ski center below the Hotel Sonnhof. Turn left under the Hotel Sonnhof along the road and after a few hundred meters turn right onto the fairytale trail. (Observe the trail markings) At 8 stations you can experience the story of Gretl and the Bösenstein. The tour ends at the Edelrautehütte.
For all those who want to take Gretl's story home with them, the booklet is available to read at the Edelrautehütte and at many businesses in Hohentauern.
