Rennradtour - 50 km through the Murtal region
This road bike tour shows enthusiastic athletes the most beautiful sides of the Mur Valley and takes you from town to town, from hotspot to hotspot.
This tour is around 50 kilometres long and starts in Judenburg, the district capital of the Murtal adventure region. Ride on roads with little traffic to Weißkirchen, via Großlobming to Knittelfeld, then on to Spielberg and via Fohnsdorf back to Judenburg.
Several rest areas and refreshment stops invite you to enjoy snacks and refreshments on this tour.

Drive eastwards from Judenburg main square in the direction of Weißkirchen and turn right at the crossroads at Wöllmerdorf after the ascent to Judenburg. Drive straight on through Maria Buch until you reach the Obdacher Straße exit. Turn left here and take the first exit at the roundabout in the direction of Weißkirchen. Drive through Weißkirchen in the direction of Gaberl. Turn left at the crossroads and take Feistritzstraße. At the end of Feistritzstraße, turn right and continue along Möbersdorferstraße, which leads into Weißkirchnerstraße. Then continue on the main road through Großlobming and follow Stubalpenstraße. Take the bridge over the Mur on the left and then take Gobernitzer Straße on the right at Landschach. Follow Ainbachallee and turn left at the junction towards Leobnerstraße. At the roundabout, take the first exit and follow Preger Straße. Then turn left towards Kobenzer Straße. Then take Anton Regner Straße to Sachendorf. Take Gaaler Straße and then turn left at the bus stop onto Birkachweg. Follow this road until it forks and then turn left into Höhenstraße. Follow the road to Schönberghof, turn left and follow the road in the direction of the Red Bull Ring. Drive to the main road and follow the Spielbergstraße to Flatschach and Rattenberg until you reach Fohnsdorf. Follow the road straight on to Allerheiligen and Paßhammer. Turn left and complete the loop via Waltersdorf to Strettweg and on to Judenburg.
There are several places to stop for refreshments along the route and to enjoy the view.
Judenburg is easily accessible by ÖBB train or bus.
Parking is available in the centre of Judenburg, or there is an underground car park in Judenburg town centre.
