The archery course was set up in June 2014. There are currently over 86 figures over a length of around 6 kilometres. A new shooting platform with breathtaking views has also been opened.Shooting rangeEvery shooter has the opportunity to test their marksmanship on this course. For newcomers, the course also starts at the practice range. In order to gradually introduce beginners to the feel of the bow and arrow, we only shoot at large targets at first until we gradually achieve a better hit rate.Only then does it make sense to go through the course to shoot at smaller and more distant targets. Experienced archers should also take advantage of this opportunity before starting the course.Archery on the Zirbitzkogel is a great way to relax and train your body and mind all year round. In winter, you can also hike the course on touring skis or snowshoes - a very special experience. We shoot at closer distances in winter to minimise arrow loss. The course is also ideal for company outings and birthday parties. You can also book a round of archery with me in the form of a voucher. If you are just starting out with archery and have no previous experience, two instructors are available for a BEGINNER'S COURSE. Bows are available for hire. Please book in advance by telephone!
Body arches are available.
Course costs: Adults € 40 Children € 35
Equipment hire: Adults € 30 Children € 25
The journey is via the village of Mühlen, which is around 8 km from Neumarkt in der Steiermark. In the village of Mühlen, turn off in the village centre following the signpost to Tonnerhütte. Follow the road uphill towards Tonnerhütte until you see the signs for my archery course and my alpine huts in a sharp right-hand bend after about 5 kilometres. Turn right there and after about 400 metres you have reached the archery course.
