The Tauplitzalm is one of the most beautiful high plateaus with six crystal-clear mountain lakes, bright mountains and many unique alpine flowers (gentian, alpine rush, orchid species, ...). There are numerous hiking routes and mountain tours on offer, such as the 6-lake hike from the mountain station via Großsee, Märchensee and Tauplitzsee to the Steirerseebankerl viewpoint; walking time: 1.5 hours. Those who prefer a steeper and more athletic route should definitely try the "Gamsblick" via ferrata.
