Carving in nature - Workshop

Mariahof

About the offer

TRADITIONAL CRAFTS WORKSHOP

The application of old handicraft techniques for the independent production of traditional everyday objects and equipment, which can be used directly on tours, for example, makes it clear in a very impressive way what your own hands are capable of achieving. The feeling of self-efficacy and self-determination plays a central role here, as well as pure joy and pride in the self-made workpiece.
This approach clearly demonstrates the focus of experience-based learning in the Friluftsliv (Swedish for "free-air life") and the strong link between theoretical and practical knowledge. The participants experienced intensively the effort and time required to produce a spoon or butter knife, for example, and thus developed a better understanding of real production processes and the value of products.

About the serviceprovider

At the Moarhube, the idyllic time-out and educational farm in the Murau region, you can take part in seminars, day events and training courses. These are dedicated to the outer and inner experience of nature, health and our development.

Details about the events such as content, prices, times, registration options and information about the Moarhube itself can be found at www.natursein.at.

The Moarhube is also a wonderful place to get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
Here the clocks tick slower, there are few distractions, but lots of nature and open space. A small vacation home and a camping meadow are available for your time out.

If you need personal support during this time, Claudia Gruber will be happy to help you!
