Hike over the Sandling between Ausseeralm and Vorderer Sandlingalm.
We meet at 10:00 am at the "Altaussee Loser Skiarena" sign and drive from there together (carpool) to the Steinberghaus - Salzwelten Altaussee parking lot.
We follow the hiking trail in a northerly direction to the Ausseer Sandlingalm and continue on trail 201 to the Vordere Sandlingalm. Then we take the easy via ferrata (A/B and don't forget your climbing helmet) to the Sandlingsattel and after another 100 meters in altitude we have reached the summit. If someone does not want to do the via ferrata, the ascent can also be accompanied via the descent route.
We hike back north along the Sandling ridge, path 251, until we reach the northern pasture again. From here we branch off in a north-easterly direction (trail 201) and after about 1 hour and 15 minutes we reach the Blaa-Alm, where we stop for a bite to eat :-)
We will cover the 800 meters in altitude and 10 kilometers in around 3.5 hours.
