District musicians' festival in Ligist
LigistCelebrate 100 years of the Ligist-Krottendorf Music Association at the big Music Festival 2025 in the Graz Region!
The Ligist-Krottendorf Music Association invites you to a musical highlight in the Graz region! From 5 to 7 September 2025, the 100th anniversary will be celebrated in Ligist with a big jubilee and district music festival. For three days, you will experience rousing brass music, modern sounds and culinary highlights from the Lipizzaner homeland.
Friday, 5 September - Festival kick-off with Sašo Avsenik
The Musikverein Harmonie Andelsbuch opens the festival with a concert, before Sašo Avsenik and his Oberkrainer provide an exuberant atmosphere.

Saturday, 6 September - Costume Consecration & Legends Evening
The day begins ceremoniously with brass band music and the consecration of traditional costumes. Afterwards, regional music legends will delight the audience before the Sulmtal Express rocks the marquee. Deejay Lone Wolf creates a party atmosphere in the disco.

Sunday, 7 September - District music festival & marching music competition
The big district music festival starts with a marching music competition and a festive ceremony of the Voitsberg music district. Guest bands provide the best entertainment at the subsequent morning pint.
