On Saturday, the Advent magic begins with an exhibition by Doris Sailer (‘Farbenspiele’) and a photo exhibition by Franz Thosold about the ‘Murauen nature paradise’ in the Graz adventure region. Musical accompaniment is provided by the Pöllauer Tanzmusik and the brass band of the Eggersdorf bei Graz music association, who play traditional Christmas carols. From 11 a.m., you can expect a special Christmas atmosphere with mulled wine, waffles and savoury, sweet and spicy treats.
Sunday brings an equally colourful programme: from 9:30 a.m., children and adults can try out Christmas crafts, sing Advent songs and listen to Dorli Kircher's Christmas stories. At 3.00 pm, Saturday & Sunday, Julia Zaunschirm invites you to a loving reading from the picture book ‘The little penguin and his journey to dreamland’. On two days, the Krumegg carvers' circle will also be offering insights into show carving and showing impressive nativity scenes that will enchant you.
A special highlight is the festive Advent wreath dedication on Sunday at 17:00, accompanied by the Christmas sounds of the wind ensemble and the ‘TonART Eggersdorf’ choir at the music pavilion. Over 40 exhibitors from Styria also offer a variety of handmade gifts and decorations for the festive season.
