Enjoy a relaxed hike through fresh deciduous forests and discover nature and sights close to the city in the Graz region.
Meeting point: 08.15 am at Judendorf-Straßengel railway station, arrival and departure only possible by public transport, as there is no return to the start.
Trail length: 15 km | ascent 580 m | walking time approx. 5:00 hours.
The end of the hike is at approx. 2.30 pm in Thal, followed by a refreshment stop. The return journey with city bus no. 48 to Graz-Gösting can be organised flexibly.
Arrival by public transport: S-Bahn line 1 Graz - Judendorf-Straßengel
Difficulty level: Hike without special requirements, fitness level required for approx. 5 hours and 600 metres ascent Equipment: good footwear (hiking boots) required, hiking clothing, rucksack, gloves & hat depending on the weather, possibly hiking poles, drink, snack, no refreshments during the hike
Costs: € 15,- pP, payable on site to the guide excl. ascent and descent with the Schöckl cable car
