Experience a varied circular hike from Rein Abbey via the alpine Kaschlsteig trail to the cosy Mühlbacherhütte - stop for refreshments in the Graz region.
Meeting point: 08.45 am at the Rein Abbey bus stop; parking at Rein Abbey
Trail length: 14 km | ascent 730 m | walking time approx. 5:00 hrs.
The end of the hike is at approx. 16.00 hrs with a planned stop at the Mühlbacherhütte, ending at Rein Abbey. You can organise your journey home flexibly.
Arrival by public transport: RegioBus 110, Graz main station - Rein Abbey
Difficulty level: long hike with ascents, otherwise no special requirements, fitness level required for approx. 5 hours and 700 metres ascent
Equipment: Good footwear (hiking boots) required, hiking clothing, rucksack, gloves & hat depending on the weather, possibly hiking poles, drink, snack, refreshment stop at the Mühlbacherhütte
Costs: € 15,- pP, payable on site to the guide
Service: Guided snowshoe hike with a certified mountain hiking guide
