Enjoy a relaxing snowshoe hike on the Schöckl plateau: magnificent views, summit experience and a comfortable ascent and descent with the cable car.
Meeting point: 9.15 am at the Schöcklbahn valley station
Trail length: 9 km | ascent 400 m | walking time approx. 3:30 hrs.
Total duration of the hike until approx. 2.00 p.m., end at the mountain station, followed by a stop for refreshments, individual descent with the Schöckl cable car and journey home.
Arrival by public transport: RegioBus 250 from Graz-St. Radegund; parking at the cable car valley station
Difficulty level: Snowshoe hike without any particular difficulties, fitness required for approx. 4 hours and 400 metres of ascent
Equipment: snowshoes and hiking poles with large plates, good, sturdy footwear (mountain boots) required, winter hiking clothing, rucksack, hat, gloves, warm drink, snack, no refreshments during the hike
Hire: snowshoes including poles for a fee. Pre-booking is essential!
Costs: € 15,- pP, payable on site to the guide excl. ascent and descent with the Schöckl cable car
