Experience the blossoming splendour of natural gardens in the Graz Region at the Stübing Open-Air Museum.
On 29 June 2025, the ‘NATURE in the GARDEN Styria’ initiative cordially invites you to the Austrian Open-Air Museum Stübing for the Garden Day. In the centre of the Graz Region, you can discover the diversity of natural gardens in full bloom. Historic farm gardens, protected by fences and closely connected to the houses, once provided people with vegetables, herbs and medicinal plants. Later, flowers were added and used for festivals.
On this day, guided tours at 10:00 and 14:00 await you, during which you will learn more about the history and significance of these gardens in Styria. Participation in the guided tours is free of charge; regular admission prices apply. The meeting point is at the entrance/cash desk of the museum.
Take the opportunity to familiarise yourself with the beauty and benefits of natural gardens. Find out how these traditional gardens are constructed and which plants grow in them. Perhaps you will also discover inspiration for your own garden.
