Embark on a special journey of discovery through the Graz Adventure Region and experience the musical world of the Styrian poet Peter Rosegger. On the guided tour “Rosegger full of sound”, you will follow in the footsteps of the forest farmer's son, who advanced from a dreamy versesmith to a celebrated author. This varied tour takes you to important places in Graz that are closely linked to Rosegger's life and work.
Led by experienced GrazGuides and song mediator Anna Maria Gutschi, you will get to know not only the literary but also the folk music side of Rosegger. Anecdotes and quotes from his life are complemented by the singing of folk songs and settings of his poems. The result is a lively and surprisingly modern picture of this subtle poet, committed citizen and courageous man.
