Golfclub Erzherzog Johann Maria Lankowitz - golfing pleasure in the Lipizzanerheimat in the centre of Styria. The 18-hole course in the Graz Region offers pure nature and perfect course conditions from March to November, ideal for golf enthusiasts.
The Erzherzog Johann Golf Club in Maria Lankowitz, located in the picturesque Lipizzaner region of Styria, has been offering pure golfing pleasure for over 20 years.
The 18-hole course impresses with its well-tended course and idyllic surroundings, attracting golf enthusiasts from the entire Graz Region and beyond. Especially in spring, when the rolling hills and dense forests present themselves in a beautiful play of colours, the course is transformed into a true natural paradise. The driving range, pitching green and putting and chipping greens offer ideal training opportunities to perfect your game. Balls can be collected from the ball machine. The required tokens are available from the secretary's office or in the restaurant.
The club's golf school offers tailor-made training programmes for both beginners and advanced players. Modern analysis methods are used to develop the right golf technique to improve the game.
Another highlight of the course is the Golf-Starthaus, which was built in 2023 and is reminiscent of the former mining industry in Maria Lankowitz. Where the famous ‘Pibersteiner coal’ was once mined, a unique golfing experience begins today.
After a successful round, the cosy restaurant tempts you with traditional Austrian cuisine and international specialities.
In the well-stocked golf shop you will find everything you need for your golf equipment - from fashion to golf clubs, including expert advice.
