On the border with the district of Bärnbach and next to the alum factory the trained painter and sculptor Franz Weiss created a special piece of sacred holistic artwork.

The Tregister Village Chapel is dedicated to the Holy Mother of God "Maria Knotenlöserin". The artist Prof. Franz WEISS, who is highly appreciated and respected here and also internationally, designed "Our Tregister Village Chapel". The colourful and radiant chapel in the middle of the village of Tregist invites you to rest and enjoy.

At the chapel there are always devotions and during Advent there is also a Christmas market. Enjoy the colourful imagery on the outside walls in the green and unspoilt nature.
