Irrwurzenweg, Strallegg

The Irrwurzenweg is a circular trail that is characterized by a story. It mostly leads through the forest around the Kogel and back to the starting point.

Caution is advised on this path, because "Irrwurzen" are not ghosts in the true sense of the word, but roots that undoubtedly harbor evil spirits. If you step on them unintentionally, you will no longer find your way. Countless hikers are said to have been doomed by this wicked root.
Well, you can't get lost in this part of the forest, as trail number 59 puts hikers back on the right path. Nevertheless, it's nice that old legends and stories are still being kept alive.
