From D, NL, B, F: Via Munich, Salzburg, Tauernautobahn to St. Michael/Lungau (or Radstätter Tauernpaß), turn off to Tamsweg - continue towards Murau.

From H: Via St. Gotthard, Graz – Packautobahn (Twimberg exit) – Judenburg – Scheifling – Murau – Kreischberg.

From CH: Via Arlberg, Innsbruck, Bischofshofen, Tauernautobahn.

From I: Via Tarvis, Villach, St. Veit/Glan, Scheifling, Murau, Kreischberg.

By car from Vienna: Via Semmering, Bruck/Mur, Judenburg, Scheifling, Murau, Kreischberg.

From the starting point at the Kreischberg information office, walk towards the Kreischberg valley station, continue across the car park towards the Hotel Relax Resort. Pass the hotel and follow the path towards Tischlerei Stolz. After the carpentry shop, keep right until you reach Sport Suli. Then turn left onto Grabenstrasse and follow it to the Dorfplatz junction. Continue walking across the village square towards Marbachstrasse. There you turn onto the Föhrenweg and follow it until you reach the Ski-Sepp settlement. Cross the railway crossing and follow the path to the outdoor swimming pool. At the outdoor swimming pool, keep left towards the bridge. Here you have a great view of the Holzeuropa Bridge. Follow the path over a small climb towards Kreischbergstrasse. From the parking lot, walk across the zebra crossing and keep left towards the train station/Kreischberg. Follow the footpath back to the Kreischberg information office.
