Your hike starts at the “Grüner Specht” inn. From there, walk across the church square, past St. Nicholas Church, in the direction of Blahbach. After crossing the stream, turn left onto the Promenadenweg and follow it to the next bridge. You will reach the Nagelschmied cross along Bachstraße. Here you turn right towards “Habringsattel” and walk along an unpaved path through the Zugtal valley. After around 3.5 km you come to the “vlg. Freitag” farmstead and continue uphill along the path. Cross the ridge to reach the highest point with a small summit cross. The return route first leads back to the Habringsattel, where you now follow the forest path downhill. You pass the farmstead “vlg. Greimegger” and reach the country road 514. Follow the road back to Oberzeiring, past the soccer pitch and the leisure facility, until you reach the “Grüner Specht” inn again.

From the “Grüner Specht” inn, we walk past the entrance to St. Nicholas' Church across the church square in the direction of “Blahbach”, cross the stream and immediately turn left onto the promenade path along the Blahbach. We follow the Promenadenweg to the next bridge, walk along Bachstraße to the Nagelschmiedkreuz (chapel). At the Nagelschmied chapel, we continue to the right in the direction of “Habringsattel”. We follow the unpaved path in the direction of Zugtal and follow this path for around 3.5 km to the “vlg. Freitag” farmstead. We continue uphill through a meadow and reach a fork in the path. Here we follow the sign marked “Habringsattel”. And walk along the ridge to the highest point with a small summit cross. From Habring, follow the same route back to Habringsattel (signpost). Here we no longer cross the meadow we came over, but follow the signpost marked “Greimegger - Palsgraben - Oberzeiring” and take the left-hand forest path downhill until we reach the farmstead “vlg. The path now follows the farm access road to the “vlg. Greimegger” farmstead until it crosses the 514 country road. There is a small chapel on the left-hand side here. The trail now runs back along the main road, past the soccer pitch and the leisure facility towards the center of Oberzeiring to the starting point at the “Grüner Specht” inn.
