Furtner Teich circular hiking trail

Easy hike that is particularly suitable for families and children.
During a natural history discovery tour or a leisurely walk along the circular hiking trail, you won't be able to stop raving about it. Water lilies, mallards, coots, grebes and moorhens share the 12.5 hectare pond with numerous fish and toads. The natural and species-rich bank zone is an internationally important resting place for numerous migratory birds. This is also the reason why the Styrian State Bird Protection Observatory can be found here. The Natura 2000 protected area is still a “host country” for many rare bird species.
