Theme garden tour, Pöllauberg

In Pöllauberg have been created ten different, freely accessible themed gardens.
...blooming gardens, parks and flowers are an integral part of the landscape of the Pöllauer Tal Nature Park. The gardens provide insight into the culture and agriculture of the nature park:
  • Schnapsgarten: You don't have to have tasted the fine spirits to be intoxicated by the distorting mirrors and wobbling tables.
  • Herb garden: Traditional culinary and medicinal herbs show that an herb can really be grown for every purpose.
  • Pious garden: God's grace herb, angelica and St. John's wort, but devil's claw blooms in between!
  • Rose garden: Roses are a symbol of love. Therefore, the following applies here: enter at your own risk! We assume no liability for romantic experiences.

We can find more blooming ideas in

  • vineyard,
  • Flower garden,
  • Room with a view including the Hirschbir´n Hirschn landscape window,
  • seasonal garden,
  • Flower Styria/Blumentiergarten and in
  • Bee and butterfly garden.

Another garden can be reached in 1.5 hours on foot: Pheasant Garden at the Hotel Muhr.
