Who has not dreamed of once being transported to the past, to the good old days. In Bad Gleichenberg, this dream comes true every year at the Biedermeier Festival.
The Biedermeier Festival will open at 9 a.m. on the main square with a concert by the Trautmannsdorf traditional music band. Afterwards, at 10 a.m., the procession of the historical groups starts from the Schnurbaumallee across the main square to the festival grounds in the Kurpark. There arrived form to the greeting and opening of the festivities by the emperor pair.
This is followed by square concerts of waltzes and marches and the traditional performance of the imperial children's ballet by Tanzforum Doris Trummer.
Charming Viennese cafés and restaurants invite visitors to linger, and crafts that have become rare are offered in noble pavilions. Young and old enjoy the games of bygone days on the meadows of the spa gardens and horse-drawn carriage rides invite you to take a tour of historic Bad Gleichenberg. In addition, the "Imperial Court Market" on the main square offers regional specialties and delicacies.

Costume rental in the tailor's workshop Hufnagl Bad Gleichenberg. Splendid Biedermeier costumes can be selected about four weeks before the festival.
