The two villages of Oberlamm and Unterlamm have been deeply divided for generations. Unfortunately, the shared village church with its wooden statue of St. Henry stands right on the border of the two communities, which has always been a source of contention.
Worn down by the ongoing dispute between the parish council chairmen Hermann from Oberlamm and his deputy Frida from Unterlamm, the long-serving parish priest has suffered a nervous breakdown.
His sick replacement, Father Sebastian, is already expected by the resolute parish housekeeper Erna and the good soul Gina, an Italian woman who gets things wrong in her zeal. The temporary priest optimistically believes he can reconcile the quarrelling parties. He is soon proved wrong.
The only ones who understand each other are the two children of the feuding parish council chairmen. Then the Episcopal Ordinariate Director Dr. Dr. Franziskus turns up and everyone thinks it's because of the dispute. But the high dignitary is pursuing completely different interests. Housekeeper Erna, Sabine and Peter try to put everything back in order with a ruse.
Will they succeed? Take a look!
