Absolutely recommendable are the Styrian fried chicken at the Dorfwirt. These are also available to take home after ordering in advance.
Chef Andreas is happy to arrange various celebrations. Either in the Dorfwirt or the entire equipment is delivered to your home. As a specialty among them is the legendary "Kistnbratl" from the Vulkanland pig with Gossendorf pumpkin vegetables. Or a buffet with typical regional smoked meats and homemade farmhouse bread would also be a tasty idea.
The Dorfwirt is located along the famous Gossendorf Nativity Trail. It is a circular hiking trail with over 50 cribs in the open air. Therefore, the Dorwirt is often chosen as the starting point or destination of the hike.
Andreas Hödl also runs the Feldbacher Montag's-Wirt. As the name suggests, there are Mondays in the Stocksporthalle in Oedt near Feldbach lunch menu, as well as many other delicacies.
