EDERS Hofbrauerei is located on the approximately 120-year-old farm of the Eder family. It is located on the outskirts of the town of Fürstenfeld in the thermal region of Styria.
Master farmer Helmut Eder discovered his love of organic farming at an early age. In 1995, the farm was therefore converted to organic. The protection of groundwater and soil as well as the preservation of biodiversity are only a small part of the benefits for the environment and future generations.
In 2012, a long-standing dream finally became reality: brewing beer on the farm, where the malting barley is sown and harvested. The farm's own microbrewery was opened. Here, too, the philosophy is continued - only organic, partly own raw materials are used, which is why EDERS BIO BIER is allowed to carry the seal of quality of the AUSTRIA BIO GARANTIE as well as the EU BIO LOGO.
In addition to the naturalness of the products, attention is also paid to their high quality. With the 4 to 6 week maturing process in bottles or barrels, the natural carbonic acid produced during the maturing process is finely bound in the beer and no carbonic acid needs to be added. The BIO BIER is not filtered, all valuable ingredients are preserved.
