Gasthaus Haberl in Walkersdorf near Ilz is an upscale, home-style inn that also offers fine food from the in-house Finks delicatessen manufactory.
Locals, business people and pleasure travelers meet at the village inn. At lunchtime, the focus is on classic Austrian inn cuisine; in the evening, Hans Peter Fink demonstrates his creativity and subtle handling of high-quality ingredients in a delicious way. The barbecue and cooking courses at Fink-Haberl are also highly recommended.
Fink's delicacies have made themselves comfortable in a modern sales and showroom right next to the Haberl Inn. Bettina Fink's delicatessen manufactory produces pickled and preserved delicacies purely by hand. Fruit and vegetables are processed. The product range extends from vinegars to pestos, jams and chutneys to rarities such as black walnuts & rowan berries.
