"Backstube" of the Wild Sisters
Where is the best place to start describing the Genusswerkstatt of the sisters Elisabeth and Roswitha? Ideally in the heart, the bakery, because here there is always a good smell, as well as contagiously good mood in the air. With much love is baked and produced here. Bread specialties and pastries are made from our own grain. The selection of bread now ranges from nut, pumpkin, whole grain spelt, buckwheat and milk bread to bread buns and burgers. In addition, the two conjure up spreads, juices, syrups, brandies, liqueurs, vinegars, oils, Styrian pumpkin seed oil, jams, chutneys and herbal, flower and fruit specialties from the untreated "Wild Herb Meadow". With their basic products the two are uncompromising, processed and refined only products from the own cultivation or from regional producers. By the way: Directly next to the Genusswerkstatt of the wild sisters is the bike rental Aktivbike - leave your car, borrow a bike and explore the beautiful area of the Bad Gleichenberg region.
Herbal workshop with the "Wild Sisters"
The Wild Sisters pass on ancient herbal knowledge. Participants learn about wild herbs and receive extensive scripts about the plants, uses and recipes about the herbal products made in the workshop. Together, the previously presented wild herbs will be processed (for example, to wild herb spread, herbal salt, syrup, jelly ...). The self-made herbal products may keep each participant of course.
Gleichenberger Kellerstüberl
All the delicacies created in the workshop are available for consumption in the Gleichenberger Kellerstüberl. In the cozy Stüberl or under the wine arbor you can spend enjoyment hours.
