A paradise of nature is the spa park Bad Waltersdorf. It is the heart of the spa and seduces its visitors with its unique play of scents and colors. The first messengers of the colorful sea of flowers are the purple and yellow blooming crocuses. Every year they welcome the spring and make the passing walkers long for the upcoming blooming spring season. A terrace filled with Mediterranean plants as well as bog beds and flower beds with climbing roses give the familiar scent of summer. Venerable foliage and conifers line the park's walkways along the natural pond, where fish and frogs make themselves known in the shade of the pond roses. The large weeping willow at the edge of the pond and the primeval sequoia tree characterize the overall appearance of the spa park. The cottage garden, which is located along the walkway, has been supplemented with over 20 native herbs. In addition to the romantic places to rest, there is a new playground for the little nature lovers to romp around. During the wedding ceremony, the adjacent registry office offers a view into the natural play of the park, which is also available as a photo location for weddings. Adjacent to the park is the Kulturhaus, where concerts, seminars and cabarets are held at regular intervals, and a cozy coffee shop with a terrace and a view of the park.And of course, there is also an appropriate insect hotel for the residents of the spa park! In 2018, Bad Waltersdorf and the spa park were awarded the "Golden Flora" in the Styrian flower decoration competition.
