Born in 1954 and starting from childhood interested in technology to this day. With the acquisition of a cassette recorder in 1969, so to speak, start of the passion for collecting and the beginning of love for the devices for sound recording.
1973 the next step takes place. A Philips tape recorder, a Lenco record player and an Uher mixing console are purchased. 1986 the first camcorder in the form of a portable VHS recorder and a remote tube camera comes into my possession.
1988 and 1989 purchase of the first real camcorders with Video 8 and Hi 8 system from Sony. With the introduction of camcorders, Super 8 film dies and the first collectibles, Super 8 cameras, projectors and various editing equipment come into my possession. After the advent of digital technology, various analog camcorders, cassette recorders are then added. In 2014, by a happy coincidence, the opportunity arises to get a room in the so-called Schützhaus in Mureck, for an exhibition of the accumulated rarities.
After the opening at the city festival Mureck in September 2014, the collection is constantly supplemented and expanded. On display are now devices from the beginning of sound recording in 1877 to the present day and exhibits from the film world from the magic lantern to the most modern camcorder.
