Understanding, experiencing, and tasting
Fritz Rauer runs - together with his family - an agricultural business in its fifth generation in Bierbaum near Bad Blumau. To facilitate the understanding of production, one can observe it in Rauers Vitaminreich, an experience world. From the seed to the crunchy vegetables, you can witness the production of the products and then taste them.
Fritz Rauer is a visionary vitamin tinkerer, a passionate enjoyment expert, and an innovative pioneer in local superfoods. The flagship product is undoubtedly the organic sprouts from the Rauer family. Furthermore, crunchy vegetables, various salads, and fine oils are grown and processed. In addition to conventional methods, beneficial insects are used in crop protection to counteract pests as natural adversaries. This protects the environment, and the products are treated with as few pesticides as possible.
The Cyclist Stop & Farm Shop
Between Bierbaum and Burgau lies the rest station of Rauers Vitaminreich in an idyllic location. Directly on the R3 cycling path (Safentalweg) and in close proximity to the cycling paths FF8 (Hundertwasser Tour), R12 (Thermal Cycling Path), and B75 (Lafnitztal Cycling Path). Here you can take a cozy break and cool off with fresh spring water. To recharge, the shop offers refreshing drinks, delicious snacks (for example, power bars), and seasonal fruits and vegetables. By the way: While you recharge your reserves at the pond, your e-bike charges too. The farm shop is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week!
