Bronze sculpture worth seeing.
In 2009, on the occasion of the anniversary "150 years of the city of Feldbach", a program of events was held throughout the year. In the month of August, a new sign for the city was erected on the green area between the houses Hauptplatz 31 (Sparkasse) and 1 to commemorate the anniversary year. This is the bronze sculpture "Sensible Kraft" by the Feldbach steel sculptor Ludwig Haas. The installation site is located in the historic surroundings of Villa Hold, the city parish church, the Gewerbehaus and Tabor and lies at the intersection of the old Feldbach districts of Ledergasse, Badergasse and Platzer, close to the Oedterbach (Feldbach), which used to run open. Bishop Dr. Egon Kapellari came to Feldbach for the dedication.
Ludwig Haas was born in Feldbach in 1947 and grew up here. He learned the locksmith's trade at the Puntigam company.Since 1983 he has lived and worked as a sculptor in St. Martin an der Raab in southern Burgenland. At the beginning of 1990, he turned his focus to working with iron and steel. With his adaptation of the then unusual gouge process, he succeeded in setting a methodical course in the visual arts.
