The alpaca farm in the Steintal
Near Tieschen in southeastern Styria, in the so-called Steintal, away from the main roads surrounded by vineyards, meadows and forests lies the small cadastral municipality of Grössing in the south of the Theme Land & Volcano Land Styria. In the village center of Grössing, the "Steintal-Alpaka" farm was created from a former farm (vulgo Weber) after a three-year conversion period from 2017 to 2019!
Experience hour for children and parents
Would you like to get to know our alpacas, learn more about them and pet them, then you are welcome - by appointment - to come by our farm. Please ask for an appointment and indicate your preferred time. Guided adventure hike Experience hiking and trekking with alpacas: enjoy the beauty of nature in the company of these cuddly animals. - the hike will definitely be an unforgettable experience. During an introduction and getting to know the animals (approx. 20 min) we learn how to treat the animal with respect. The trail then takes us through forest and meadows on different routes.

In our farm store at the Steintal alpaca farm you can convince yourself of the quality of this natural product. We carry a wide range of socks and knee socks, scarves, hats and gloves, cuffs, sweaters, jackets, coats, capes and ponchos, sofa blankets and special little things. Visit us! You can find our fiber in all shoe insoles, quilts, seat covers and partly in the yarn! In addition to selling our own wool products, we carry only products from brands that have convinced us with their consistent quality and sustainability.
