For several generations, the Edelsbrunner winery has been a family business, vouching by tradition for the highest and most consistent quality.
Winemaker with a soft spot for Weimaraners
In 1997 Josef Edelsbrunner took over the winery in Straden, which had been run by the Edelsbrunner family for generations. Welschriesling, Sämling, Pinot Blanc, Pinot Gris, Junker, Traminer and Blauer Zweigelt are pressed from grapes rooted in volcanic soil at an altitude of around 300 meters above sea level.
By the way, in addition to wine, the Edelsbrunner winery also cultivates fields where pumpkins are grown, ultimately producing pumpkin seed oil.
Vacation home family Edelsbrunner
On a hill, with a wonderful view of the churches of Straden and in the middle of the vineyard lies the winery house with two vacation apartments and a small wine cellar. Each apartment has a furnished terrace, large living rooms and bedrooms with their own anterooms and separate WCs. In the two-room apartment there is a pull-out couch as extra beds for two children. In the small wine cellar you can wonderfully taste and enjoy wine.
