Riegersburg Castle is considered the largest castle in Styria and is one of the most popular destinations in the country. As an impregnable fortress it is enthroned high up on the rock and is not for nothing one of the most popular sights of the region. Thanks to its imposing fortifications and unique location, the castle was one of the strongest fortresses in the western world and has never been conquered.
