Hill country trail (Hügelland-Weg)

The S2 Hügelland trail connects with the Römerweinstraße and leads to the "Bernerhaus". The S2 Hügelland Trail is in connection with the Roman Wine Road and leads to the "Bernerhaus", where you can enjoy a peaceful horizon-free view over the beautiful thermal and volcanic country.
Hiking improves endurance and strengthens the musculoskeletal system. In addition, regular exercise has positive effects on physical and mental health. The starting point of the hiking tour is at the local supply center in Sebersdorf. The 13 km long tour is for hikers who like to enjoy beautiful views.

The start of the tour is directly in the village at the local supply center Sebersdorf. Start in the direction of the highway and keep left after the railroad crossing. Here you go uphill in the direction of Sebersdorfberg, then Großhaide, until you finally arrive in Geier. Here you walk along the wine road to Vogelsang-Harras. At the crossroads turn right into the Höhenwaldweg in the direction of Schmiedböck, Haller and Wagenhals. There you will come to the "Bernerhaus", where you can have delicious tapas and desserts as refreshment. With a full stomach you will then go downhill along the Römerstraße in the direction of the train station. Finally, the railroad crossing is crossed and you get back to the starting point.
  1. start in the center of the village - direction highway
  2. after railroad crossing left, uphill towards Sebersdorfberg, Großhaide and Geier
  3. along the wine road, uphill to Vogelsang-Harras
  4. at the crossroads turn right into the high forest towards Schmiedböck, Haller, Wagenhals
  5. pass the "Bernerhaus", downhill along the Roman wine road towards the train station
  6. cross the railroad crossing, back to the starting point
