Starting from Bad Radkersburg, the Klöcher Wine Road leads north with its gentle hills and exceptional panoramic views as far as Slovenia.

The Klöcher Weinstraße runs north from Bad Radkersburg (tip: Urbani-Vinothek): From Pölten, the western route leads to Klöch with the famous Traminer (tip: vinotheque and wine museum) and Tieschen to Pichla, continuing via Frutten-Gießelsdorf and Plesch to St. Anna/Aigen (tip: Vinothek Steiermark with the best Styrian wines) and via Kapfenstein to Fehring.

It starts in the spa town of Bad Radkersburg and heads north to Pölten, where it splits. To the east, it goes straight on to Gruisla, past Hochwart through Deutsch-Haseldorf to Pichla. The western route leads to the market town of Klöch - known for its Traminer wines, which are among the best in the world - past the wine museum via Klöchberg to Tieschen and Pichla, where the two roads rejoin. It continues via Frutten-Gießelsdorf, Plesch to St. Anna am Aigen, with the Vinothek Steiermark. Past Waltra to Kapfenstein, Mahrensdorf and ends in Fehring. There the Thermenland Wine Route (circular tour) continues.

 

On the Traminerweg in Klöch and the Wine Trail of the Senses in St. Anna/Aigen, you will be rewarded with the most beautiful views. Plan some enjoyable refreshment stops!

 

The Klöcher Weinstraße is not accessible by public transport.
