Speilbrunner path (Speilbrunnerweg)

Open
Short round trip with a short climb. You will be rewarded with a beautiful view of the southeast Styrian landscape. Culinary reward is at the Buschenschank Kober or at the wine tavern "Zum Stoabocha".
A circular tour with many beautiful views of the landscape. Also along the Safen, small stream in the spa community of Bad Blumau, it is very nice to feel the peace and nature. Small slope available. Along the way are always resting benches. Enjoy the many beautiful moments in nature. It is not a remote tour and yet there is little traffic and smaller towns are nearby.

From Bad Blumau you go in the direction of Speilbrunn. Here you can visit the forest grotto "Maria Brunn". The water is said to have healing effects for the eyes. In any case, it is sure to cool down a little. On the way you can also watch sheep, horses and pigs in their enclosures. Finally, you will also be rewarded with a view of the Rogner Bad Blumau, designed by artist and architect Friedensreich Hundertwasser. It is the largest inhabitable work of art www.blumau.com.

Detailed information on how to get there can be found here.
We start at the parking lot of the thermal baths Rogner Bad Blumau www.blumau.com.

From the largest habitable Gesamtkunstwerk, designed by the artist and architect Friedensreich Hundertwasser, we head north to the small village of Schwarzmannshofen. Here we take a leisurely walk along the Safenbach stream to the geomantic stone. We turn right and cross the state road.

At the next crossing we turn left along fields until we reach the village of Speilbrunn after crossing the railroad line. In the center of the village we have to decide if we want to visit the forest grotto "Maria Brunn" in Speilbrunn. To the right we continue along the "Speilbrunnerweg" on our tour. Here we take a short rest at the bench at the end of Speilbrunn before the ascent.

Afterwards we overcome the ascent. At the top we can turn left and visit the Buschenschank Kober (note opening times, as it is not open all year round) and taste the excellent wines and the Styrian snack. Thus strengthened, we continue in the direction of Kleinsteinbach. Here the bike rolls downhill without much effort. In Kleinsteinbach at the first intersection to the left and then to the right, here we have the thermal baths Rogner Bad Blumau again in the field of vision and go straight along a side path and then turn right to the spa parking = starting point.

A short detour also takes you to Cafe Idylle in Kleinsteinbach. And you can enjoy an ice cream or a cooling beer on the terrace with a view of the thermal spa.
