With the train, you can travel daily from Vienna, Upper Austria, and Lower Austria to Weißenbach an der Enns station and from there continue with the RegioBus or during the summer with the Gesäuse Sammeltaxi.

On weekends and public holidays, trains run twice a day from Vienna via the Westbahn line through the Gesäuse and back.

On Fridays, express trains operate year-round from Vienna to Liezen (final destination Bischofshofen) and return to Vienna on Sundays (bicycle transportation with prior reservation possible).

The Eurocity and Intercity trains of ÖBB run every two hours through the Enns Valley. Thus, there are direct connections to the district capital Liezen from Graz, Innsbruck, and Salzburg. From Vienna, you can travel via the Southern Railway line every two hours with one transfer in Leoben (on the same platform) to Liezen.
